JT Griffith is currently the Director of Film and TV Music and in-house music supervisor at Nettwerk Music Group in Los Angeles.
Nettwerk is the label, management or publishing home to Sarah McLachlan, Kinky, Avril Lavigne, Dido, Ivy, Sum 41, Josh Rouse, Jars of Clay, Guster etc. JT has worked as music supervisor, producer, peer-to-peer entrepreneur and journalist. He was the music supervisor on the Peabody award-winning TV show Boomtown and the critically acclaimed labor documentary American Jobs. For four seasons, JT was a credited member of the Grammy-nominated SuperMusicVision team responsible for the sound of HBO's Six Feet Under, NBC's Las Vegas and other projects. JT also has worked behind the scenes with DJ Gary Calamar's The Open Road for NPR flagship station KCRW 89.9 producing live sessions with bands ranging from The Flaming Lips to Tom Jones.
JT was also a Founder of BigChampagne, a leading tech-based market research and marketing consulting firm. As a journalist he has been published by Rolling Stone.com , the All Music Guide and many other publications. JT has also assisted with teaching the UCLA Extension course on Music Supervision with Gary Calamar.
