Victor KemperAward Winning Cinematographer
A native of Newark, New Jersey, graduated from Seton Hall University. He began his career in public broadcasting. Kemper received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Society of Cinematographers at the 12th Annual ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards gala on March 8, 1998, at the Century Plaza Hotel. Kemper has compiled 52 major feature film credits including such critically acclaimed films as Husbands, The Candidate, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, The Gambler, Dog Day Afternoon, Slap Shot, Audrey Rose, Oh God!, The Jerk, The Four Seasons, Author! Author!, Mr. Mom and Beethoven, and the telefilms Too Rich: The Secret Life of Doris Duke and On Golden Pond.
